![]() When you log in, there is a button on the ProfitUI Control Center to open the spell timer. Using Notepad you can add as many characters as you want, and the settings file (_ProtifUI_DrumsUI_ST_Settings.txt) has 30 slots for monitored spells for each character. ProfitUI Community Edition, a newer version of ProfitUI that is being kept current by players, has been updated to include Zidu's adaptation. Last Fall, Zidu designed a ProfitUI adaptation of the Spell Timer, which is very similar to the SpellTimer Window. If not its cool, just thought it might be something people would like if its easy to do that is. I was wondering if there is anyway you can make this available for this version as now the limited number of abilities you can put into the spell monitor file makes me cut down to just a few abilities when trying to play multiple alts. I know there is a version where you can just drag what you want to show into the tenth hotbar bank. ![]() Personally I tend to try to find things for myself eq2maps or not.Quote: Originally posted by DjThaPimp I believe you use the dragowulf spell monitor in this UI. Now open the Options (ALT+O) and select Other from the Keyboard Drop-Down List and log off EverQuest 2. Now save your key maps as eq2keymapcustom.ini by typing. So EQ2maps it was because there was at least a basic map of those zones. Start by logging into EverQuest 2 and customizing your keys as desired. ![]() Unzip the xml, dds, tga (dds, tga's must be in a. Make a new folder with any name BUT with no spaces or special charaters (example: bobsui) in the UI folder that is inside your Everquest II directory. Current Install Steps: Download the interface you wish to use. Soul of a ranger, more comfortable outside. So here are the steps to use for now to load a custom interface and have it work. I've had trouble learning dungeons since way back in EQ1. I personally started using EQ2 maps because there were no standard maps of the sewers of Freeport or Qeynos and I had to go to them often for quests and spent WAY too much time lost. If I couldn't replace the default big one I would have had to turn it off or push it until it was mostly off the screen. I absolutely despise certain pieces of the current default UI (that #$#($# gigantic WoW/LOTRO esque xp bar for one) and quite cheerfully replaced it with a nice modded one that looks more like the old one before the stupid giant one that shows adventure, aa and tradeskill xp one under the other. Unless you're the type that opens a book at the last page first to see whoddunnit. I have tons of respect for the work put into EQ2maps but I would urge everyone to use it only as a last resort. I'll post a pic of my UI, which is mostly Profit, with further customized chunks outlined in red:Īnd here's DarqUI's Window Utility options where I've setup customized actions for my conjy: Darq's window utility allows me to easily customize the spells and tells cast from the group window clickies) DarqUI Live (I only use a few pieces, notably Darq's group window, the price-setting popup you use at the broker, and the tradeskill window.Othesus Maintained Spells window (configurable size and shape, shows numeric countdowns on the various spells you have up).Uberfuzzy's Compass with Zone+Region(helpfully shows what zone you're in right below the compass).Norrath/Earth Date and Time Window(shows day/night, Earth Time, and Norrath season, date, and time).I also have some individual customized pieces that I really like: For a long time, it was the "must have" UI for healers. I like ProfitUI Reborn, which I am told is similar to WOW's CT Mod. The whole GUI for EQ2 is XML and uses DDS graphics, so if you're decent with XML, you can tweak it yourself, even, if you want to. if thats not the case delete them and recopy over ini files from normal server again and just rename them from whatever server your on live to ragefire and try again. Everyone is going to have their own personal preference as to what they want out of their UI. check to see if your uinameserver.ini and nameserver.ini somehow got read only.
